tractor rides

I recently had a request from a reader who wanted to drive his antique tractor in a local parade and on some tractor drives. The parade committee asked to see his proof of liability insurance before he would be allowed in the parade.

This was his first antique tractor restoration and he was fully aware that he wanted to insure it incase of a fire or a storm damaging it, but never realized he would have to have liability insurance, the same as his automobile if it was to be driven on a public street or road.

It won’t be long before another summer filled with tractor shows and tractor rides will be under way. Some rides are short jogs to the next town or a park for a meal and camaraderie while some will last for several days

Each spring, as soon as the weather permits, and sometimes sooner, the antique tractor rides begin to take place. There are two major components to any successful ride, the organizers, and the antique tractors.
