Class of 1950

This is my friends‘s (Robert Konikowski of Glen Spey NY) 1950 Allis-Chalmers “B” tractor that we restored this past winter and finished this spring. After Robert restored a 1938 Allis “B” to what I would say mint condition, he wanted to do something a little different... And this is what we came up with!! A “Low Rider” a truly unique and sleek custom tractor. Robert being an auto body person and an excellent fabricator was able to use all the Allis-Chalmers original parts to build this tractor (although many parts custom made for this build). I being a novice in both auto body and fabrication was able to learn the finer art of restoration from a true craftsman.. I’ve come to realize that in Roberts eyes, Being just good is NOT good enough. We will be showing the tractor at local shows and parades in the New York area..
