28-50 Hart Parr

This is a picture of my 28-50 Hart Parr. It took me 4 years to completely restore this tractor. It is my favorite tractor that I have restored. It was a challenge and just plain fun to see it torn apart, and slowly going back together. Hearing it run again was just like a great birthday present. I was grining from ear to ear. I am getting married in a couple of weeks, and if I have time, I would like to get it out of the machine shed, and park it some where in the yard. I forgot to mention we are having our ceremony in our yard. We did some landscaping this spring in preparation of the wedding. Maybe we could drive away on the Hart Parr!! Is this sounding to much like a red neck?

I see nothing wrong with using the tractor in your wedding, what a great way to incorporate too things you love; your bride to be and your antique Hart Parr. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding.

This is one of the coolist (that is a word, ins't it) ideas I have heard in a long time. There was a story, a couple of years back, in the Iron Memories book about a couple that actually used their antique tractor (it was the other shade of green)as the wedding "get away" vehicle. It' a great lady that will let a man share his heart with a Hart-Parr (punn intended) on their wedding day, congratulations.
