Paint colors and History of Scofield potato growing implements

I received a call the other day from a gentleman with a Scofield antique potato digger. The digger has no paint left so he was unable to identify the manufacturer when he purchased it. Another antique machinery collector was able to help him, but his digger wasn’t much better however he could make out the name. He is eager to know if anyone is familiar with this company and could help him identify paint colors for restoration purposes. So far he knows the company manufactured these diggers and other potato equipment under the brand name of Scofield, from a factory in Freeport, Illinois in and around the 1920 time frame. We would like to hear from anyone who has history of this manufacturer and it’s products.
