First Factory Installed Cab 1938
Sometimes it doesn't pay to be ahead of your time, which was the case when Minneapolis Moline introduced the UDLX or U Deluxe. Also called the Comfortractor, the unit was a standard U with an all-steel cab that featured cushioned seats for two, a heater and ventilation, a radio and other automotive amenities... including a road speed of 40 miles per hour.
Unfortunately, the UDLX never caught on and only 150 units were built, making it one of the most collectible models in the entire AGCO lineage.

Richard,
I just want to let all of our antique tractor readers that Vol II of Iron Memories featured a restoration story of a M&M Comfort cab Deluxe. Unfortunately that edition is sold out but maybe I can locate the story and post it on this website for all our readers.
