Not everyone is reacting negatively to the current downturn in the economy. Antique tractors are selling for all time record prices at the auctions. An Aumann Auction held in Litchfield, Illinois a rare C.O.D. 13-25 brought an amazing $150,000.00 in a little over 4 minutes. To see the actual sale of this tractor visit www.you.tube.com/watch?v=s2sldt7ocq8. According to the auctioneer this tractor is one of about 6 known to exist. If you feel it bears a resemblance to an early Avery, rightly so, since the builder left Avery to open his own company. Another antique tractor, a Wisconsin with Sterling engine, billed as older repaint, missing a few lugs, some damage to radiator, but hold still holds water, brought $42,500 at this same auction. The not so rare are doing well also, in Minnesota a 1958 John Deere 520 wide front brought $6,250. All in all the antique tractor auction market is hot but the tractors must be well represented. If you are a seller be sure you arm your auctioneer with as much information as possible to get the money you deserve from your tractor. There is also a a great article on the Beef Cattle site American Cattlemen about antique tractor prices.
Antique tractors have a special place in the heart of a lot of people, they represent a part of their life. My grandfather used to have an old tractor, he loved two things in his life: my grandmother and his tractor. I see how people search for cars from their childhood at car dealer Manchester NH, they are ready to give huge amounts of money to buy a car that is special for them. If my grandfather would have $150,000.00 he won`t think twice and will buy that C.O.D. 13-25.
Any antique collector will love antique especially those close to their heart and I think given the chance would love to be part of the auction...and win Tampa Car Accident Lawyer

I haven't heard tractors being auctioned. Well I think antique ones are really capable of more tough works. also there are other auctions held but this time it is for cars. RM Auctions conducted its inaugural auction this last weekend in Cernobbio, Italy. The sale happened at the Villa d'Este concourse. The event presented a catalog which promised to make classic auto aficionados water at the mouth. A plethora of rare, classic and historically significant automobiles were offered for sale. Many of the vehicles earned millions of dollars apiece. I found this here: Rare cars auctioned for millions, cardealexpert.com/news-information
I have an antique truck too. I never thought to sell it, but now I want to give it away because I don't use it anymore. I saw in my neighborhood an automobile donation park that receive antique truck. It seems to be a good place to let my truck.
I found an antique childrens tractor in my new home. It is green, says "Big 4" and "Chain Drive" on the sides, pedal power and a steering wheel. Does anyone know where I can go to sell this? Thank you for your time, Mike
