1952 Case VAS

Harley Rath form Mossley, Ontario Canada, has recently shared information with me regarding his rare 1952 Case VAS tractor.

Although most collectors are familiar with the various models in the Case V series few have had the privledge of running across a VAS. When Harley's son told him about this tractor he could hardy wait to see it.

What makes the VAS different?  The VAS is a high clearance, row crop, offset tractor. Only 1559 were manufactured between 1951 and 1954- 18 in 1951, 1028 in 1952, 374 in 1953 and 139 in 1954.

The VAS has many features that make it uniqie to the other Case V series models produced during that time. The VAS has a 69.5" wheel base, 24.25" front Axle clearance adn 23.75' clearance beneath the rear axle. It came standard with an Eagle hitch with hydraulic lift, electric starter and lights.

As optional equipment Case also offered a PTO, belt pulley, idler attachment and low cost fuel engine.

Not many of these tractors are known to survive throughout the years. Harley's VAS has been returned to its original showroom condition and another rare tractor has been saved from the iron pile.

Much thanks to you, I like your extra data. Look at the Hot Line Antique Tractor Guide for extra data on Case and other obsolescent tractors and joins together.

Donna, you posted an informative blog and I also have some basic knowledge about this historical tractor. When I taken guidance from coursework writers online to complete my topic on tractors, I gathered lots of knowledge. In 1942, the V series was replaced by the Case VA series. Various variants on the VA series were available at that time.

Thank you, I appreciate your additional information. Check out the Hot Line Antique Tractor Guide for additional information on Case and other antique tractors and combines.
